I went back to get my hair braided on March 12, 2011 #priorities

Take a look at the date on the receipt. After the earthquake in Tokyo, I walked for about an hour to get my hair braided. When I got to the barbershop, I found out the woman that was supposed to braid my hair never made it to the shop, because the trains shut down. So what did I do? I went to TGI Fridays and got a half order of ribs, Mac n Cheese, and two drinks. PS, look at the total charges. That’s outrageous right? This meal would’ve cost $20 in the US!

I try to find pictures of “Welcome to…” in every country I visit.

Janek Schergen was my ballet professor for a semester while in college. He was incredibly mean and scary but hugely responsible for my understanding of dance technique.
-
This girl found out who I was dancing for while in Tokyo. She started taking pictures of me, so I decided to give her a show lol

Random Fact, San Marcos Square is actually a rectangle lol. Part of the movie Hannibal was filmed here. Crazy!

After working on Victorious, I went to celebrate Taja’s bday. Dark Knight Media caught a photo of Taja, Chaz, Cheryl, and I.

“Matane,” means see you later in Japanese. As my workshop in February was coming to a close, the studio asked me if I wanted to stay and teach for a couple more days. My students were excited, so they took me out to dinner to celebrate. They were sad to see me leave, and I was honestly sad to go :(

When we first got to Venice, I was having an out of body experience, because it looks like a movie set. Seriously. It was very surreal. I had always wanted to go to Venice, so when my student asked me to take a picture, I didn’t know what to do. I thought, “Is this really my life?”

With some of my students (Andrea and Eva) and Fransu on the most famous bridge in Venice!

When I went to Germany in 2013, I had a few days off and went on a tour of Berlin. I didn’t expect to love the city as much I as do. There’s so much history there and the people are so kind.
